Necessity is the mother of invention.....
Our company started out of the desire to portray a more accurate personna when participating in reenactments. We found it challenging to find those fine details...buttons, ribbon, books...to lead us in our journey. We asked many of our fellow reenactors and they were having the same problem...where do you find __________? So...The Civil War Civilian was born. Later, we changed the name to Anna and Abigail's in honor of our great and great-great grandmothers. We think they would be proud.
Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. We are committed to meeting those needs. We strive to provide the Civil War Reenator with authentic items or reproductions for an authentic (or as close as we can be) impression.
